A self-sustaining closed system where all inputs are utilised with no resulting emissions

The CER Waste Reforming Technology process has no residual waste. The CER system is based on hydrogen being manufactured from the feedstock. It ignores the thermal content and instead harnesses the carbon content of the waste to generate energy reliably with zero emissions.

  • All municipal waste can be used (except for nuclear and asbestos). The process is designed to harness the carbon content and ignore the thermal content/calorific value of the feedstock.

  • No emissions, it is a contained process with all by-products utilised or reformed. All the production gasses are captured and used as an energy source.

  • No waste is discarded, nothing goes to landfill, out to sea, or into the atmosphere.

  • The by-products are reformed into value-added material.

  • It is economically viable and sustainable. A recession-proof business based on waste.

ZERO EMISSIONS


The CER Waste Reforming Technology is a closed system where all the inputs are utilised.

All emissions are captured, and the waste is used to produce hydrogen. The hydrogen generated in the process is converted into many value added products

There is no smokestack because all gases emitted are reused within the system, and absolutely no waste is discarded.

SCALABLE BY DESIGN


CER’s design incorporates flexibility as its main feature is to produce maximum profitability from municipal garbage anywhere in the world and at the same time be sustainable in every way possible.

What makes this process truly ground breaking is that it does not take a ‘one size fits’ all approach. Due to its modular flexibility it can be customised to meet urban or regional requirements. 

The technology is not only modular but can also be separated into 3 distinct technologies.

  1. Feed System

  2. Waste to clean energy and/or Value-Added Products.

  3. Reforming Facility

The WTCE design allows for flexibility in addressing the problems of waste collection through allowing briquetting close to the point of garbage collection and at the same time it can also address the supply of clean base load electricity to rural and regional areas.

WTCE facilities are planned to be scalable up to consume 5,000 tons of waste producing 225 mW/h BLE and 1,500 tons of carbon per day.

ECONOMICALLY VIABLE AND SUSTAINABLE


Financially, the CER Waste Reforming Technology is self-sustaining.

Income is generated from several sources namely waste supplied, and the products produced. It generates its own energy. Carbon Credits are generated at both ends of the process.
